Girls - Grade 1 and 2 (U8) Lacrosse

Philosophy:

Our main objective for the program is to develop a fundamental understanding and appreciation of girls lacrosse.

• Cradling, catching and passing, ground balls, stick and shooting skills will be introduced

• Positive attitude, team work and good sportsmanship will be strongly encouraged

• Create a fun environment and a desire to keep playing and learning

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the 2023 Spring Season, players must be in 1st or 2nd grade

Schedule:

The season will begin in late March indoors and will consist of 1-2 weekly practices starting in early April and ending in mid June. 4 games will be played towards the end of the season against nearby town teams. Note that more games may be added at coaches choice in early May.  Games will be 7v7. 

Games will be Sunday.

SPRING 2023 GAME DATES FOR GRADES 1 & 2:

Equipment:

The players will need a girl's lacrosse stick, goggles, and mouth guard.  

Costs:

Cost of the program will be $TBD and does not include a complete uniform.

Uniform:  

Uniforms are required and can be purchased on the registration page. Uniforms are re-used each year.
